Tolikan Chapter is located 14 miles south of the Red Mesa Trading Post off of U.S. Highway 160 and west of the beautiful Carrizo Mountains and south of Dry Mesa. The Tolikan Chapter House was built in the mid 1950's. The population is about 1700+ people. The youth of the community are served by Red Mesa Public Schools, Carrizo Christian Academy of Immanuel Mission, and TeecNosPos Schools. The Tolikan Community is also serviced by the Four Corners Regional Health Care System located on Hwy 160.

The Tolikan Chapter conducts monthly meetings to keep residents informed; residents have a forum to express their opinions to their Chapter Officials and the Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to decide on matters concerning their chapter.
